Creating Matters

Learn how to create and manage legal matters (cases) in LawBridge CRM.

What is a Matter?

A "matter" in LawBridge CRM represents a legal case or project. Each matter is linked to a client and contains all related information including events, documents, and billing.

Creating a New Matter

  1. Navigate to Matters in the sidebar
  2. Click the "New Matter" button
  3. Fill in the required information:
    • Title - A descriptive name for the case
    • Type - Select the practice area
    • Client - Link to an existing client
    • Reference - Your internal case number
  4. Add optional details (description, assigned attorneys)
  5. Click Save

Matter Status

Open

Active case in progress

Closed

Completed or concluded case
